IMPLATS ENVIRONMENTAL OFFICER JOB CLOSING DATE: 17.05.2023 DEPARTMENT: SHEQ DOMAIN: ENVIRONMENTAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB : To maintain or improve environmental performance on an operational level and ensure compliance with environmental legislation and standards. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS: Relevant NQF level 7 qualification in Environmental- Science or Management essential. ISO 14001 lead auditor certification will be an advantage. A minimum of 3 to 5 years experience in Environmental Management Systems (EMS), calibration of equipment, refining processes, and relevant legislation. Sound knowledge of environmental software packages, sampling techniques, and environmental instrumentation monitoring. Knowledge of environmental legislation, impact studies, audit processes, and project management principles.
