INGREDIENTS :

1 cup of boiling water 

1/2 teaspoon of salt 

2 cups of maize meal 

INSTRUCTIONS 

Place water and salt in your pot and bring to boil.

When boiling gradually add maize meal and stir using a fork until the mixture resembles crumbs, cook for 15 mins and stir every 3 minutes.

Cool and serve with Amasi.

  Queen Cakes Recipe Ingredients : 3 cups of cake flour  1/2 cup of sugar  1/2 tsp salt  3 tsp baking powder  2 eggs  1 cup milk  1 tsp vanilla essence  1/2 cup of cooking oil  Method : Sift flour, baking powder, sugar, salt and mix (dry ingredients ). In a separate bowl add eggs, cooking oil, milk, and vanilla essence and mix (wet ingredients ). Add wet ingredients to dry ingredients.
